# Decentralized Digital Identity (Wallet)

A wallet also acts to provide a digital identity so that you can easily login to a range of decentralized applications. 

Instead of usernames and passwords for each site, you can login using your wallet's cryptographic key. 

This makes navigating between different exchanges, NFT marketplaces, and games very easy, although you may need to manually switch between the blockchains, when traversing from an Ethereum-powered site to one using BNB Smart Chain for example.
